About Kara Mann
Kara Mann is originally from West Virginia, and received a B.A. in English, with a minor in Communications, from West Virginia University in 2008. In 2013, Kara began working for the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, where she worked on West Virginia’s Language Access Program. In 2015, she was promoted by the Court to Access to Justice Director, where her main responsibility was to manage the West Virginia’s Language Access Program. Kara remained in her position until May 2017, when she relocated to Utah to begin working as the Language Access Program Coordinator for Utah State Courts.
About Chris Lindblom
Chris Lindblom has been in the translation and localization industry for almost five years. He cut his teeth as an internal translation linguist for the French non-profit Libraries Without Borders, where he later became the Communications & Translation Director for their US branch. He then joined the SLC-based LSP InWhatLanguage as a Project Manager and is currently a Localization Project Manager for Lingotek. Combined with his cosmopolitan experience of living and working abroad, Chris’ professional acumen as a linguist and project manager has helped him gain greater insight into obtaining mutual efficacy for translators and language service providers. Prior to entering the localization business, Chris graduated with honors from the University of Utah with degrees in International Studies and French. Originating from sunny Phoenix, AZ, he currently resides in West Jordan, UT where he and his wife attempt to raise their two children in a trilingual home.
