Hello! I am a full-time freelancer with experience in copyediting/proofreading, translation, and a variety of linguistic solutions. My primary background is in applied linguistics, specifically foreign language education and second language acquisition. Life experiences have also given me knowledge of a variety of areas such as the military, politics, culture, emerging technologies, science fiction and fantasy, family life, travel, music, and cooking.

To deepen my professional readiness, I also received a copyediting certificate from UCSD Extension, a highly reputable program that focused on the Chicago Manual of Style (CMS) and Microsoft Word and other technologies for editing purposes. I have carefully studied manuals for a variety of other styles, including the Modern Language Association (MLA), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the Associated Press (AP). • My remote setup includes several physical and online dictionaries, grammar references, and style guides.
• Recent work I have dealt with includes legal documents, psychological evaluations, self-help and family life, information technology, and business management.
• I am fluent in Hebrew and Spanish and have a working knowledge of Arabic and Italian, in case you need those skills for translating or as a part of editing.
